Welcome

With the successful completion of York Central Hospital Foundation's Share the Spirit of  Care Campaign, the annual Share the Spirit of Care 5k Run/Walk has come to an end.   Our 5k Run/Walk has now been rebranded and renamed to Strides for Stroke 5km Run/Walk with the proceeds going towards the York Region District Stroke Centre, located within York Central Hospital. 

We welcome everyone in the community to join us on May 1, 2010 at Richmond Green for this exciting event! Our goal this year is to raise $75,000 for the District Stroke Centre.  Keep checking back on the thermometer to see our progress!

Thank You to all those who supported and participated in our 4th Annual Share the Spirit of Care 5k Run/Walk.

You have made a difference! Over the past four years our hospital family and community have come together to run, walk and scamper in support of the Share the Spirit of Care 5k Run/Walk. Thanks to our generous supporters this event has raised over $200,000 to support the expansion of the hospital, purchase medical equipment and support the Family Birthing Centre.
