What:      Chip-timed 5k Run or Walk with a 1k Scamper for children under 12.

Where:    Richmond Green Park, on Elgin Mills Road near Leslie Street, in Richmond Hill, Ontario.                The route itself is within the park on the beautiful winding paths.

When:     Saturday, May 1, 2010

Why:       To raise funds for York Region District Stroke Centre.

How:       You may register online or complete a registration form and mail or fax it back to us.

Our 5k event is a chip-timed race supported by a large group of volunteers providing water and plenty of cheers along the route. Registration includes your race fee, a race chip, entertainment, t-shirt, complimentary refreshments and on-site massages. Prizes and medals will also be awarded.

The 1k Scamper, designed for children under the age of 12, is a great way for our youth to get involved in the fun and build their sense of community pride. All Scamper participants will receive a prize and participation medal.

9:30am:           1K Scamper (Children 12 yers and under)

10am:              5K Run and Walk

11am:              Prizes, Medals and Cool Down Massages

Complimentary refreshments will be available following the race for participants and spectators.

Race Kit Pick-Up

Race Kits may be picked up at York Central Hospital Foundation prior to the race. Dates and times will be confirmed closer to the event. Race Kits may also be picked up at the event at Richmond Green Park from 8:00am to 10:00am. If you would like someone to pick up your race kit for you, please provide that person with confirmation of your registration.
